Job summary

Whitbread PLC’s Harwich Premier Inn is hiring a Kitchen Team Member to assist with breakfast and dinner service. You’ll prepare ingredients, cook and plate meals, and help keep the kitchen clean and stocked. You’ll work with hotel colleagues to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.

Prior hotel experience isn’t required; many team members come from supermarkets, cafés or customer service roles. If you’re reliable, enjoy teamwork and don’t mind busy periods, this could be the role for you.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy kitchen is not required, but reliability and teamwork are essential.
• Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses or customer service roles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients before service starts.
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service.
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush.
• Receive deliveries and store stock correctly.
• Work closely with the hotel team to ensure smooth service.
• Ensure meals leave the kitchen looking right.
