Job summary

Whitbread PLC at Premier Inn Taunton East is hiring a Kitchen Team Member. You’ll help prepare, cook and serve meals that contribute to guests’ stays, from breakfast service before dawn to busy dinner periods.

No hotel experience needed — we’ve welcomed people from supermarkets, cafés, pubs and restaurants. If you’re reliable, enjoy teamwork and don’t mind busy shifts, you’ll learn quickly with training and support, and grow within Premier Inn.

Qualifications

• No hotel experience required; suitable from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses or customer service.
• Willingness to learn; full training provided.
• Reliable, team-focused and able to work busy shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients before service starts.
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service.
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush.
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be.
• Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly.
• Help make sure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right.
