Job summary

Whitbread PLC’s Premier Inn in Thetford is hiring a Kitchen Team Member. You’ll help prepare, cook and plate meals for guests, including breakfast and dinner services, while keeping the kitchen clean and stocked and working closely with hotel staff to ensure smooth service.

We offer a permanent contract with guaranteed hours. No hotel experience is required; training is provided to help you learn and grow in a busy kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• No hotel experience required; suitable for people from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses or customer service roles.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients before service starts.
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service.
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush.
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be.
• Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly.
• Ensure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right.
