Job summary

Stonegate Pub Company in Southsea, Hampshire is looking for a Kitchen Team Member or Kitchen Porter to join the Scarlet Tap kitchen. You will assist with food prep, stock taking, and help the Head Chef with orders while maintaining hygiene standards.

You'll produce high-quality dishes, keep the kitchen clean, and share ideas to improve performance. The role offers growth opportunities within a dynamic hospitality group and a friendly team environment.

Qualifications

• Passion for hospitality.
• Willingness to learn new skills daily.
• Ability to assist Head Chef with orders, stock taking and food hygiene at Scarlet Tap.
• Experience maintaining kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with food preparation.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for our guests.
• Ensure the kitchen is in an excellent, clean and hygienic condition at all times.
• Offer suggestions and creative ideas that can improve the kitchen’s performance.
• Work with the team to achieve company targets.
