Job summary

Scarlet Tap, part of Stonegate Group, is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to join our busy pub kitchen. You will assist the Head Chef with orders, stock, hygiene and maintaining high standards of food preparation.

You will produce high quality dishes, oversee deliveries, keep the kitchen clean and welcoming, and contribute ideas to improve performance. We pride ourselves on great beer, cocktails and sport, with a vibrant team culture. Flexible working and staff discounts are among the benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or kitchen environments is helpful.
• Attention to detail and teamwork are important.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and produce high-quality dishes to specification.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean, hygienic and well organised at all times.
• Oversee deliveries and assist with stock taking and orders.
• Offer ideas to improve kitchen performance and efficiency.
• Work with the team to meet company targets.

• The ability to assist the Head Chef with orders, stock taking, food hygiene at Scarlet Tap
• The experience to maintain kitchen equipment

Some of the things you will be doing as a Kitchen Team Member

• Assisting with food preparation.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for our guests.
• Ensure the kitchen is in an excellent, clean and hygienic condition at all times.
• Overseeing deliveries.
• Offer suggestions and creative ideas that can improve the kitchen’s performance.
• Work with the team to achieve company targets.
