Job summary

Slug & Lettuce in Manchester is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to join our busy kitchen. You’ll support the Head Chef with orders, stock, and hygiene, and help prepare high‑quality dishes for guests.

This role offers opportunities to learn, grow in hospitality, and work with a supportive team in a vibrant venue managed by Stonegate Group.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or food service is helpful.
• Able to learn and adapt in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong eye for detail and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with food preparation.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for our guests.
• Ensure the kitchen is in an excellent, clean and hygienic condition at all times.
• Overseeing deliveries.
• Offer suggestions and creative ideas that can improve the kitchen’s performance.
• Work with the team to achieve company targets.
