Job summary

Paris Baguette UK is seeking Kitchen Team Members to prepare sandwiches, salads and sauces, delivering expertly crafted baked goods in a warm bakery café experience that brings joy to guests.

You will report to the Kitchen Manager, work as a team across restaurant tasks, maintain display presentation, manage stock and waste, and keep work areas clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of food handling or related experience.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and knife handling.
• Brand ambassador with knowledge of Paris Baguette’s mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of sandwiches and salads.
• Assist across restaurant duties as a team player.
• Make dressings and sauces for sandwiches and pastries.
• Keep sandwich displays neat for customers.
• Complete reports on production, usage and waste.
• Order products and materials as needed.
• Maintain daily par levels and restock station orders.
• Demonstrate brand and menu knowledge.
• Inform supervisor when equipment or supplies run low.
• Clean and sanitize all areas and equipment.
• Receive stock and store food properly.

Knowledge And Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of sandwiches and salads.
• Being a team player assist and support in all areas of restaurant when needed
• Makes dressings and sauces for sandwiches and pastries.
• Ensures sandwich display is presentable for internal and external customers
• Completes various reports for records such as; production, usage and waste
• Order product and materials, as necessary
• Maintains daily par levels and restocks station orders set up orders
• Demonstrates knowledge of the brand and menu items
• Inform supervisor when equipment is not working properly and when food supplies are getting low.
• Clean and sanitizes refrigerator, freezer and storage; work areas (counters/floors), equipment, containers, utensils and dishes.
• Receive stock and store food in designated containers and storage areas in an organized manner

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

• Minimum of 1 year of food handling or related experience
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and knife handling
