Job summary

Premier Inn Oldham (Broadway) is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to run the kitchen, manage rotas, place orders, lead busy services and maintain audit-ready standards. Work closely with the Hotel Manager to own food quality and hygiene, with a view to developing toward Head Chef.

Role offers hands-on leadership with 30 hours per week and a pay rate up to £14.31 per hour, with progression opportunities within Whitbread’s kitchen teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on leadership role managing rotas and orders.
• Ability to ensure audit-ready kitchen standards.

Responsibilities

• Own food ordering, stock control and cost control for the hotel.
• Lead during service: organise the team, manage workflow, ensure smooth service.
• Prepare, cook and serve menu to spec—from breakfasts to pub classics.
• Ensure health, safety and hygiene standards; train the team and keep records.
• Run shifts and help new team members settle in.
• Learn kitchen management to grow into more senior roles.
