Job summary

Greene King is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader in Manchester to guide a busy kitchen, ensure the team has what they need, and keep service running smoothly. You will lead by example and uphold the highest standards in food quality and hygiene.

You will deputise for management when needed, coordinate the team during peak times, and foster a supportive, collaborative environment. This role requires strong English skills and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen and pull together as a team when needed.
• A passion for delivering tasty and well-presented meals to customers each and every time.
• Be a role model to the team by maintaining high standards and making sure every customer receives the perfect plate.
• An ability to think on your feet and adapt to whatever challenges arise during a busy service.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present food that meets specs and customer expectations.
• Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to help guarantee the safety of your entire team and visitors.
• Deputise for the management team and resolve any issues that arise in their absence.
• Help organise and coordinate the team during a busy service, making sure everything runs like clockwork.
