Job summary

Greene King is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader in the United Kingdom. You will lead by example, ensuring service runs smoothly, support your team, and guarantee high standards in every dish served.

In this role you will prepare, cook and present food to spec, maintain hygiene and safety, deputise for management, and coordinate the team during busy services while driving training and development across our well-known brands.

Qualifications

• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen and pull together as a team when needed.
• Be a role model to the team by maintaining high standards and perfect plating.
• Think on your feet and adapt to challenges during a busy service.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.
• A passion for delivering tasty and well-presented meals to customers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present food that meets specs and customer expectations.
• Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to help guarantee the safety of your entire team and visitors.
• Deputise for the management team and resolve any issues that arise in their absence.
• Help organise and coordinate the team during a busy service, making sure everything runs like clockwork.
