Job summary

Village Leeds North is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader/CDP to drive a busy kitchen, owning your section and supporting the brigade to deliver plates that meet our exacting standards for quality, temperature and presentation.

You will uphold food safety and brand delivery, supervise junior staff, manage stock to par levels and keep paperwork up to date for monthly stock takes in a fast-paced hotel kitchen.

Qualifications

• Experience as Kitchen Team Leader or CDP preferred.
• Strong ownership of section and ability to supervise brigade.
• Commitment to food safety, HACCP and EHO compliance.

Responsibilities

• The Kitchen Floor: run your own section and manage overall flow of work.
• The Standards: ensure temperature checks, dishes meet FRESH specs, HACCP/EHO compliance.
• The Brigade: supervise junior kitchen staff and Kitchen Porters.
• The Commercial Reality: manage stock to par levels, minimise wastage, keep stock take paperwork up to date.
