Job summary

Village Hotels in the United Kingdom is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader and Chef de Partie (CDP) to bridge the Head Chef’s strategy with a busy service. You will own your section while assisting the brigade, ensuring each plate meets our standards for quality, temperature, and presentation.

You will drive food safety, lead a small team, and manage stock to par levels while preserving gross profit and completing monthly stock paperwork.

Qualifications

• Drive food safety and brand delivery with HACCP and EHO compliance.
• Ensure deliveries are temperature checked and dishes meet FRESH specifications.
• Coach junior kitchen staff and maintain high standards of service.

Responsibilities

• Run your own section and support the wider brigade to balance tickets.
• Monitor portion sizes and ensure consistent plating and quality.
• Protect gross profit by managing stock and wastage; keep stock paperwork up to date.
