Job summary

Village Hotels Leeds North is seeking a proactive Kitchen Team Leader and CDP to anchor a busy service. You will own your section, float to support the brigade, and ensure every plate leaving the pass meets our exact standards for quality, temperature, and presentation.

Lead by example on food safety, HACCP, stock control, and cost awareness while coaching juniors. If you bring energy and teamwork, you’ll receive training, progression, and great staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team in a busy service.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and HACCP.
• Ability to drive brand delivery and maintain high presentation standards.
• Proven ability to coach junior kitchen staff and porters.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a hands-on Chef de Partie; run your own section and support the brigade.
• Ensure deliveries are temperature checked and dishes meet FRESH specifications.
• Drive food safety culture and brand standards across the kitchen.
• Manage stock, par levels, wastage, and complete stock paperwork for monthly takes.
