Archway Learning Trust in Derby is seeking a friendly, enthusiastic Kitchen Supervisor to join our Trust catering team at Alvaston Moor Academy.

You will support the Kitchen Manager, supervise meal service for over 350 meals per day, use fresh produce, and help deliver a high-quality dining experience for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory role in catering.
• Strong cookery skills with fresh, seasonal produce.
• Ability to present meals appealingly.

Responsibilities

• Assist Kitchen Manager to ensure a top quality catering service.

An opportunity has arisen for a friendly, enthusiastic and skilled Kitchen Supervisor to join our rapidly growing and forward-thinking Trust catering service based at Alvaston Moor Academy, Derby. This will be catering for a large primary school producing over 350 meals per day.

This post holder will work under the guidance of the Kitchen Manager to ensure that a top quality, efficient and effective catering service and dining experience is provided at the Trust for students, staff and visitors.

You don't need to have worked in a school setting but must have some supervisory experience along with great cookery skills using fresh, seasonal produce, have a flare for flavour and excellent presentation skills.
