Job summary

Areté Learning Trust is seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant to support the smooth running of the school kitchen and dining room. You will assist in preparing and serving meals, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring a welcoming environment for students and staff.

In the absence of the Catering Manager, you will deputise to ensure continuity of service. The role is 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time (39 weeks per year), and is a permanent position.

Job Details:

Reporting to the Catering Manager, you will support the smooth and efficient running of the school kitchen and dining room. You will assist in preparing and serving high-quality meals, maintaining excellent hygiene standards, and ensuring a welcoming environment for students and staff.

In the absence of the Catering Manager, the deputising role will cease, and you will assume their responsibilities to ensure continuity of service.

Hours of Work: 30 Hours Per Week, (Monday-Friday 8:00 - 2:00), term time, including training days (39 weeks per year)

Position Type: Permanent
