Job summary

One Aldwych in Covent Garden seeks a dedicated Steward to help maintain cleanliness and hygiene across stewarding areas. You will ensure crockery, cutlery, glassware, pots and kitchen equipment are cleaned and stored correctly, while keeping back-of-house spaces hygienic and well organised.

We value a positive attitude, a focus on high standards, and basic food safety knowledge. The hotel provides competitive benefits, including service charge, paid overtime, meals on duty and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar stewarding role, preferably within a luxury hospitality environment.
• A positive attitude and passion for delivering high standards in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and maintain excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Basic Food Safety or Hygiene qualification is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• To maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen and stewarding areas.
• To ensure all crockery, cutlery, glassware, pots and kitchen equipment are cleaned and stored correctly.
• To maintain all Food & Beverage back of house areas in a clean, organised and hygienic condition.
• To ensure the safe and timely removal of waste, maintaining clean, hygienic and well organised refuse areas.
