Job summary

Kew Green Hotels is seeking a motivated kitchen support team member to help keep the kitchen running smoothly and support the team to deliver great dining experiences for guests.

Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, you will help ensure cleanliness, organization and readiness for service, with opportunities to develop skills through our Chef Development Programme and Chef Academy.

Responsibilities

• Support the kitchen team in delivering a positive and memorable dining experience for guests.
• Ensure crockery, cutlery, pots and pans are cleaned to the required standard.
• Support with basic food preparation when required during busy service periods.
• Assist chefs by collecting ingredients, equipment or materials as needed.
• Receive deliveries and store items safely, correctly and organised.
• Maintain storage areas for easy access to ingredients and materials.
• Keep the kitchen clean, tidy and ready for service, including end-of-day cleaning.
• Remove waste promptly and use cleaning materials safely and responsibly.
• Follow health, safety and food hygiene standards at all times.

Job description

This role is all about keeping the kitchen running smoothly and supporting the team to deliver great food experiences for our guests. Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, you'll play a vital role behind the scenes, ensuring everything is clean, organised and ready for service. With our Chef Development Programme and Chef Academy, you will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and progress towards a chef role should you wish., You'll be at the heart of the kitchen operation, supporting the team to deliver a smooth and efficient service.,

• Supporting the kitchen team in delivering a positive and memorable dining experience for guests.
