Howdens Joinery in the UK is recruiting a Kitchen Sales Designer to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment. You will develop strong relationships with trade customers and clients while delivering professional design support and accurate measurements for each project.

You do not need prior design experience as training is provided; you will benefit from a structured training programme, generous benefits, and a clear path to grow within a successful FTSE 100 business.

Qualifications

• Experience achieving sales targets and KPIs.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with trade customers and their clients.
• Excellent communication skills to convey ideas clearly and effectively.
• Proficiency with UK driving license and own vehicle for home visits.
• Strong attention to detail and eye for design.
• CAD skills preferred, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Driving sales performance and profit by achieving depot targets.
• Building strong customer relationships through professional design support.
• Delivering exceptional customer service throughout the project.
• Conducting home visits to measure, assess and understand client needs.
• Negotiating prices confidently while protecting margin and design integrity.
• Planning and creating inspirational and practical designs using product knowledge to advise customers and resolve queries.
