Job summary

Cosy Club is hiring a Kitchen Porter in Hereford. The role involves supporting chefs with food prep, running the dishwasher, and keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and safe. A temporary Christmas contract is available with progression opportunities for promotion to chef.

You'll enjoy meals on every shift, paid breaks, and a fair rota with two days off and a weekend off every six weeks, plus Wagestream access and 50% off food and drinks from day one across three Cosy Club brands.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required, but helpful for kitchen roles.
• Ability to follow safety and cleanliness guidelines.
• Willingness to learn and progress in a busy kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs with basic food preparation.
• Operate the dishwasher and maintain dishware flow.
• Keep the kitchen area clean, tidy and safe at all times.
• Support team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

If you've had previous experience before as a KP, great! If not, then we still want to hear from you, experience is not necessary.

You will be supporting our team of chefs by assisting with food preparation, operating the dishwasher, and keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and safe.

This could be an ideal position for someone looking to start in a commercial kitchen. Full training will be provided and there is plenty of progression opportunity for promotion to chef.

This position is available on a temporary Christmas contract. The details of the contract will be agreed upon with the hiring manager during the interview process. Any temporary contracts can be extended to permanent on the discretion of the hiring manager.
