Cosy Club York is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support our busy kitchen team, keeping the prep area clean and dishes moving smoothly. You’ll learn on the job with full training and clear progression to chef.

You'll start with food prep assistance, dishwashing, and kitchen hygiene, with generous perks, paid breaks, and opportunities to grow within the Cosy Club family.

Qualifications

• Experience as a KP or in a kitchen is welcome but not required.
• Willingness to learn and be a team player.
• Flexible to work shifts including weekends.

If you've had previous experience before as a KP, great! If not, then we still want to hear from you, experience is not necessary.

You will be supporting your team of chefs by assisting with food preparation, operating the dishwasher, and keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and safe.

This could be an ideal position for someone looking to start in a commercial kitchen. Full training will be provided and there is plenty of progression opportunity for promotion to chef.
