Job summary

Loungers is hiring a Kitchen Porter at Cosy Club Canterbury. You will support our culinary team with food preparation, run the dishwasher, and help keep the kitchen clean, tidy and safe throughout shifts.

This role offers full training, opportunities for progression toward chef roles, and a supportive team environment with competitive hourly pay, tips, and the chance to work across our brands.

Qualifications

• No prior kitchen experience required; full training provided.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Willingness to learn food hygiene practices.

If you've had previous experience before as a KP, great! If not, then we still want to hear from you, experience is not necessary.

You will be supporting our team of chefs by assisting with food preparation, operating the dishwasher, and keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and safe.

This could be an ideal position for someone looking to start in a commercial kitchen. Full training will be provided and there is plenty of progression opportunity for promotion to chef.
