BaxterStorey in Leeds is hiring a Kitchen Porter for Amazon LBA5. The role offers 35 hours per week full-time or 20 hours per week part-time, Monday to Sunday, with an hourly pay rate up to £12.99.

Qualifications

• No formal education is required, but a high school diploma or equivalent may be preferred
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and the ability to lift heavy objects

• Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and sanitation practices is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Dishwashing – Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment either by hand or using industrial dishwashers
• Kitchen Cleanliness – Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, countertops, and food preparation areas. Empty rubbish bins and ensure proper disposal of waste materials
• Food Preparation – Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling, chopping, and slicing ingredients
• Inventory Management – Assist in receiving, storing, and organising kitchen supplies and ingredients
• Compliance with Health and safety – maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen ensuring equipment is in good working order
