Crowne Plaza Manchester Airport is seeking a reliable Kitchen Porter to support the kitchen team in a fast-paced environment. You will help with cleaning, basic prep, stock handling and ensuring hygiene standards are met, contributing to a smooth service and guest experience.

The role emphasizes teamwork, willingness to learn, and adherence to health and safety guidelines, within a busy airport hotel setting and modern facilities.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment thoroughly and efficiently.

• Sweep and mop floors and manage waste and recycling responsibly.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling and chopping vegetables.
• Receive, check and store deliveries of food and kitchen supplies correctly.
• Support kitchen set up and close down procedures.
• Clean cooking equipment and work surfaces to hygiene standards.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene and health & safety guidelines at all times.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to support smooth service.
• Report maintenance, hygiene or health & safety concerns promptly.
