Job summary

Côte Brasserie in Lewes is hiring a Kitchen Porter to join our Back of House team. You will help keep the kitchen spotless, support with washing up and basic food prep, and ensure supplies are stocked so our chefs can deliver great dishes.

We value reliability, a positive can-do attitude, and teamwork. You’ll work in a friendly kitchen, learn new skills, and enjoy meals on shift, staff discounts and fortnightly pay as part of a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen and back-of-house areas spotless, safe and organised.
• Operate the dishwasher and ensure crockery, cutlery, pots and pans are clean and ready.
• Maintain stocked cleaning supplies and assist with basic food prep when needed.
• Manage waste and recycling safely and responsibly.
• Notice equipment faults or hazards and report them promptly.
• Support chefs when the kitchen is busy.
• Follow food safety and health & safety standards at all times.
