Job Opportunity: Kitchen Porter at Next

At Next, we have a great opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our busy catering team at our Head Office in Leicestershire. Working within our onsite restaurant, you will play an important role supporting the business to ensure that all deliveries arrive in acceptable condition and to maintain high cleanliness and health and safety standards within the kitchen. This is a full-time position.

You will:

1. Ensure that all deliveries arrive in acceptable condition & at the correct temperature.
2. Put away deliveries on arrival & store correctly, complying with all health & safety regulations.
3. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness & safety within the kitchen & restaurant areas.
4. Ensure all deliveries are put away in stock rotation safely without risk to others & efficiently.
5. Wash all pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to a high standard.
6. Maintain the cleanliness of dishwashers, ensuring they are sanitized and kept free from harmful bacteria.
7. Empty rubbish bins & remove waste at regular intervals to keep floors clear of hazards.
8. Complete daily laundry & replenish clean cloths as needed.
9. Report any equipment breakages as they occur.
10. Comply with quality and safety standards at all times.
11. Ensure all windows & doors are locked at the end of each shift & take keys back to security.
