Job summary

Sodexo is recruiting a Kitchen Porter to join the team at Larkhill Garrison, Larkhill, Salisbury, SP4 8QT. The role offers a hands-on, fast-paced environment with on-the-job training and full apprenticeship qualification opportunities.

You will support chefs, keep the kitchen clean, handle dishwashing, and ensure waste is managed efficiently. The position benefits from 37.5 hours per week and 5 of 7 shifts, with a clear progression path within Sodexo.

Qualifications

• Good attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Previous experience is a plus, but not essential – full training provided!

Responsibilities

• Ensure the kitchen, utensils, and equipment are kept clean and hygienic.
• Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic tasks when needed.
• Manage dishwashing and waste disposal efficiently.
• Keep stock of cleaning supplies and report any shortages.
• Follow all food safety and health & safety regulations.
