Job summary

Sodexo is recruiting a Kitchen Porter in London. You will join a busy corporate kitchen team, supporting chefs and other porters to keep the pot wash and back-of-house areas clean, organised and running smoothly.

The role involves washing dishes, assisting with deliveries and stock, and maintaining hygiene standards in a high-volume environment. Excellent training and development opportunities are available, with shifts including early finishes on Fridays and career progression potential within

Qualifications

• Experience as Kitchen Porter or similar in a busy kitchen is advantageous.
• Positive, reliable and professional approach to work.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy kitchen team.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to follow cleaning schedules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and wash dishes, crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and kitchen equipment.
• Work as part of a team of 4–5 Kitchen Porters on the pot wash line.
• Keep the pot wash area clean and running efficiently during service.
• Support the kitchen team before, during and after service.
• Ensure production areas and floors are clean and hygienic.
