Job summary

Valor Hospitality in Farnborough is seeking a hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team. You will help keep the kitchen clean, assist chefs and ensure the smooth running of daily operations.

You’ll handle dishwashing, equipment cleaning, food storage and basic prep, following strict hygiene standards. The role offers flexible shift patterns, staff discounts, and opportunities for apprenticeships and career development.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including dishwashing, mopping, and wiping surfaces
• Assist with the preparation of ingredients and support the chefs during food preparation
• Handle and store food in accordance with safety and hygiene regulations
• Maintain the inventory of kitchen supplies and inform the management team when items are low in stock
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure that food is prepared and delivered promptly and according to standards
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
