Job summary

Loungers plc is hiring a Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant for Impero Lounge. You’ll help keep the kitchen clean and ready for service, while assisting chefs with prep when needed. The role offers up to £12.71 per hour plus tips, paid breaks, staff meals each shift, and 50% off food and drinks from day one.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Pride in doing things properly and not cutting corners.
• Able to work at pace in a busy kitchen.
• Good communication and a team-first mindset.
• Understanding of cleanliness, safety, and consistency in the kitchen.
• Experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is helpful, but attitude matters.

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen clean, tidy, and well organised throughout the day.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across kitchen areas, equipment, and washing up.
• Support the chefs with food prep during service and prep time.
• Follow food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety procedures at all times.
• Stick to Lounge kitchen processes and equipment guides.
• Work as part of one team to deliver a brilliant customer experience.
