Job summary

Village is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support a busy kitchen. You will dominate the dish pit, keep equipment clean, and help the brigade by fetching and carrying food and storing gear. Focus on hygiene and safe use of cleaning chemicals to uphold standards.

You'll also check in deliveries, validate invoices, and ensure we receive what we paid for. This role values grit, reliability, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Fast-paced kitchen experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.

Responsibilities

• The Engine Room: Dominating the dish pit and cleaning equipment to keep the kitchen moving.
• The Standards: Safely handling cleaning chemicals per COSHH, managing waste, maintaining hygiene.
• The Backbone: Supporting the brigade by fetching and carrying food and storing equipment.
• The Deliveries: Checking in deliveries and validating invoices to ensure accurate orders.
