Job summary

Village Hotels in Bracknell is seeking a Kitchen Porter to be the backbone of our busy kitchen. You’ll keep the operation moving by managing heavy lifting, dominating the dish pit, checking in deliveries, and ensuring the brigade has exactly what they need to service high‑volume shifts.

You’ll work with a friendly team, follow hygiene standards, handle cleaning chemicals safely per COSHH, and support the brigade by fetching food and storing equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and follow COSHH regulations.
• Strong hygiene standards and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the dish pit and heavy lifting tasks to keep the kitchen moving.
• Check in deliveries and validate invoices to ensure accuracy.
• Support the brigade by fetching food and storing equipment properly.
• Assist with maintaining high levels of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
