Job summary

Village Hotel Bracknell – Kitchen is seeking a proactive Kitchen Porter to keep the brigade moving during busy shifts. You’ll own the dish pit, assist with deliveries, check equipment, and help the team stay stocked and ready for service from lunch through dinner.

You’ll handle waste and cleaning to COSHH standards, maintain the highest levels of hygiene, and be the reliable link that helps chefs get hot plates and clean utensils quickly.

Responsibilities

• The Engine Room: Dominating the dish pit and cleaning equipment to keep the kitchen moving.
• The Standards: Handling cleaning chemicals safely per COSHH and maintaining hygiene.
• The Backbone: Fetching and carrying food, storing equipment, and supporting the brigade.
• The Deliveries: Checking in deliveries and validating invoices to ensure accurate goods received.
