Job summary

Andras Hotels in Belfast is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support the kitchen team and help deliver high standards of food service. You will wash, store and prep crockery and assist in keeping the kitchen and service areas clean and hygienic.

Casual hours are available, with opportunities to work across departments as needed and to develop through Andras Academy training and hospitality programmes.

Qualifications

• Good communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced and pressurised environment.
• Teamwork and ability to work independently.
• Ability to communicate and follow instruction.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry and store crockery, cutlery and glassware.
• Operate plate wash and pot wash machines and perform daily maintenance.
• Keep the kitchen clean to high hygiene standards.
• Assist in cleaning of front and back of house when required.
• Accept deliveries and ensure goods are stored correctly and safely.
• Adhere to SOPs and health and safety requirements.
• Attend training courses when requested.
