Job summary

Andras Hotels in Belfast is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support the kitchen team in delivering high-quality meals across its Holiday Inn sites. You will wash, dry and store crockery, operate plate and pot wash machines, and help maintain hygienic standards in a fast-paced environment.

Casual hours offer flexibility, with responsibilities across front and back of house as needed, adherence to health and safety rules, and opportunities to learn through Andras Academy and development programs.

Qualifications

• Clear communication with team and guests.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
• Willingness to support multiple kitchen areas.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry and store crockery, cutlery and glassware.
• Operate plate wash and pot wash machines and perform daily maintenance.
• Keep the kitchen clean to high hygiene standards and sanitise surfaces.
• Assist in cleaning service prep area and front/back of house as needed.
• Accept deliveries, store goods correctly and follow health and safety rules.
• Report broken equipment to the Senior Chef on duty.
• Wear a clean uniform and name badge at all times.
• Adhere to SOPs, checklists and responsibilities under Health & Safety.
