Job summary

Driverz Work is seeking a Kitchen Porter/Driver to support our hotel kitchen team. This role combines standard kitchen porter duties with driving a hotel truck to move waste between areas.

You will clean dishes and surfaces, ensure health and safety, unload deliveries when needed, and help the kitchen during busy periods. A valid UK driving licence and 1 year driving experience are required.

We offer full-time employment at £13.34 per hour, with on-site parking, pension, and a referral programme.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence with experience driving trucks or similar vehicles.
• Previous experience as a kitchen porter or in a similar cleaning role is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on cleanliness and safety.

• Perform kitchen cleaning duties, including dishwashing, sanitizing surfaces, and general maintenance of cleanliness.
• Safely drive the hotel truck to transport waste and rubbish to disposal areas.
• Ensure waste is managed according to hotel protocols and health & safety standards.
• Assist in unloading deliveries and organizing kitchen supplies as required.
• Support the kitchen team with various tasks during busy periods.
