Job summary

Harri is seeking a Kitchen Steward to operate and maintain cleaning equipment, wash and disinfect kitchen areas, and ensure proper storage of wares. The role emphasizes adherence to safety policies and teamwork in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

You will perform routine sanitation tasks, manage waste, and assist with general cleanliness to uphold health standards and support kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment including dish machine, hand wash stations, pot-scrubbing station, and trash compactor.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
• Ensure clean wares are stored properly and sanitized in the 3-compartment sink.
• Inspect, pull, and stack cleaned items; rewash as needed; manage racks and drying.
• Follow QA standards and safety policies; report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
