Job summary

Klondyke Garden Centres invites applications for a Full Time Kitchen Porter at our restaurant in Houghton Hall Garden Centre, Carlisle. You will help maintain a steady supply of clean crockery, cutlery and equipment, plus support the front and back of house during busy periods.

We offer 40 hours per week over 5 days, with weekend shifts required. Benefits include competitive hourly pay (£10.40–£12.75), staff discounts, health plans and generous annual leave.

Responsibilities

• Avoid breakages.
• Ensure all crockery and dishes are cleaned properly.
• Clean equipment and work areas to high hygiene standards.
• Close down kitchen daily and prep for next day.
