Thomas Franks Ltd. in Winchester is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our established team. You will help keep the kitchen hygienic and safe, supporting chefs with prep and maintaining high cleanliness standards. The role operates across a 5 over 7 day pattern and benefits from on-site parking.

Experience in pot washing is advantageous; applicants should show good verbal and written English, and be a strong team player with a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Kitchen Porter experience is preferred, but not essential.
• Organisation skills required.
• Good verbal English (spoken).
• Good written and reading English skills required.
• Similar experience in a customer and/or food preparation environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pot wash duties and maintain hygiene standards.
• Support Chefs with food preparation tasks.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness throughout kitchen.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Operate industrial dishwasher and manage cleaning materials.
