Job summary

Côte Brasserie is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support our Back of House team. You will help keep the kitchen clean, tidy and safe, assist with basic food prep, and ensure equipment is ready for service.

You will work closely with the chefs and kitchen team to maintain high standards in a busy environment. We offer a competitive hourly rate plus service charge, fortnightly pay, staff meals, and opportunities to learn and progress within the business.

What you'll do

As a Kitchen Porter, you'll be an essential part of the kitchen team, helping keep everything behind the scenes running smoothly so our chefs can do what they do best. Keep the kitchen and back-of-house areas spotless, safe and organised, before, during and after service. Operate the dishwasher and make sure crockery, cutlery, pots and pans are clean and ready when the team needs them. Keep cleaning supplies stocked and support the kitchen with basic food preparation when needed. Manage waste and recycling safely and responsibly. Keep an eye out for equipment faults or hazards and let the team know when something needs attention. Support the chefs wherever you can, especially when the kitchen is busy. Follow our food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards at all times.
