Job summary

Côte Brasserie in Salisbury is hiring a Kitchen Porter to join our Back of House team. You’ll help keep the kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly so our chefs can focus on delivering high quality dishes.

You’ll be reliable, hardworking and eager to learn, with a team-first attitude. This role offers an hourly rate plus service charge, meals on shift and staff discounts as you grow with the business.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen and back-of-house areas spotless, safe and organised.
• Operate the dishwasher and ensure crockery and utensils are clean and ready.
• Keep cleaning supplies stocked and support basic food preparation when needed.
• Manage waste and recycling safely and responsibly.
• Watch for equipment faults or hazards and report them to the team.
• Support the chefs during busy periods.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards.

Kitchen Porter

We're looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our Back of House team, the people behind the scenes who help keep our kitchens clean and organised, enabling our teams to deliver our high-quality dishes to our guests.

What you'll do

As a Kitchen Porter, you'll be an essential part of the kitchen team, helping keep everything behind the scenes running smoothly so our chefs can do what they do best.

• Keep the kitchen and back-of-house areas spotless, safe and organised, before, during and after service.
• Operate the dishwasher and make sure crockery, cutlery, pots and pans are clean and ready when the team needs them.
• Keep cleaning supplies stocked and support the kitchen with basic food preparation when needed.
• Manage waste and recycling safely and responsibly.
• Keep an eye out for equipment faults or hazards and let the team know when something needs attention.
• Support the chefs wherever you can, especially when the kitchen is busy.
• Follow our food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards at all times.
