The Gleneagles Hotel in Edinburgh is looking for a proactive Kitchen Porter to join our Culinary team. You will support chefs, maintain spotless back-of-house areas and ensure all crockery and utensils are pristine for guests.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of kitchens in hospitality and back-of-house operations.
• Experience with food hygiene and health and safety regulations.

• Strong communication and punctuality; keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Support chefs and brigades; ensure cleaning routines are efficient and high standards.
• Ensure crockery, cutlery and glassware are pristine before guests; attention to detail.
• Store equipment safely; keep outlets organized and stocked.
• Ensure safe removal, segregation and storage of recycling materials.
• Record deliveries, food temperatures and high-risk foods; proper storage.
• Build strong relationships with teams; exceed expectations; service is 5-star.
• Interact with members and guests; make their stay luxurious.
