Job summary

The Commercial Hotel in Scotland is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team. You will help the Head Chef and kitchen staff maintain a clean, efficient station and support the wider team in delivering quality hospitality to guests.

Essentially, you will handle dishwashing, assist with food prep, and ensure hygiene standards are upheld. A passion for cleanliness and good communication are key to thriving in this role.

Qualifications

• Preferably have a level 2 in food hygiene and experience of all current legislation.
• You have a passion for cleanliness.
• You’re a confident communicator and know what hard work our standards require.
• Your attention to detail is first class and always strive to give your best every day.
• Our KP's are not someone who is only interested in "washing dishes" and doesn’t want to get involved with the Kitchen service to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Washing dishes and assisting with food preparation.
• Deep cleaning equipment and maintaining high hygiene standards.
