Potters Resorts Five Lakes in Essex is hiring a Kitchen Porter to support a fast-paced kitchen team. You will help keep utensils and areas clean, assist chefs with prep, and ensure hygienic standards are maintained to delight hundreds of guests daily.

Responsibilities

• Keep cutlery, crockery, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils clean and hygienic at all times.
• Work in a fast-paced and physically demanding role.
• Work efficiently and within time frames.
• Assist chefs with essential food preparation as required, including peeling and chopping vegetables.
• Follow HACCP and Food Hygiene regulations.

About the Kitchen Porter role;

• Ensure that cutlery, crockery, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils are kept clean and hygienic at all times


• The ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding role


• To work efficiently and to keep within time frames


• Ensure bins are used for the correct waste, supporting recycling and promoting good waste management


• Working safely by following HACCP and Food Hygiene regulations


• To assist the chefs with essential food preparation as required, including peeling and chopping vegetables

We Offer:

• £10.85 - 12.71 per hour (depending on age)

Hours of work:

• This is a full time role working 40 hours per week

Working a combination of the following shifts:

7.30am - 4.00pm

2.00pm - 10.30pm

Working 5 days out of 7 which will include working weekends and bank holidays on a rotational basis.
