Job summary

Iconic Hotels & Resorts’ Lensbury in Teddington is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support all kitchen areas with plate wash duties and general cleaning to uphold high hygiene standards. You’ll follow cleaning schedules, manage waste, and assist staff canteen duties on a rota basis.

We offer free meals on duty, free drinks in staff restaurant, 28 days holiday per year and free onsite parking. A reliable team player with flexible attitude is welcome.

• Clean kitchen per daily/weekly schedules including surfaces, floors, and ovens.
• Empty waste and food bins regularly throughout the day.
• On a rota basis, clean Staff Canteen twice daily and as requested.
• Assist colleagues to reduce energy costs and waste.
• Perform other duties as required; be reliable and punctual.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and be a team player.

The Job As a Kitchen Porter, you will work across all our kitchen areas, carrying out plate wash duties as well as general kitchen cleaning duties to ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout.,

• Clean all kitchen equipment, pots etc to ensure a high standard of hygiene is maintained.
• Clean kitchen as laid down in the daily and weekly cleaning schedules to include surfaces, floors, working surfaces, ovens etc.
• Ensure all waste and food bins are emptied regularly throughout the day.
• On a rota basis, clean the Staff Canteen twice daily and as requested.
• Work with colleagues to reduce energy costs and consumable waste.
• Assist in any other duties as required. Reliable and good timekeeper.
• High standard of personal hygiene.
• Flexible attitude to duties.
• A team player.
• Ability to carry out the manual handling requirements of the role.
