Job summary

The Chickpea Group is recruiting a Pub Assistant to join our busy team in Salisbury. You’ll help in the kitchen, wash up, and support the front-of-house crew to ensure every guest feels welcome and well looked after.

We offer 20-30 hours per week, weekends included, with 17+ eligibility, competitive hourly pay (£8.20–£13) and a range of perks as part of our supportive, growth‑minded restaurant company. Training and internal progression are encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of a passionate, energetic team to deliver a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Assisting in the kitchen with food prep and washing up (Kitchen porter duties).
• Supporting the front-of-house team by serving, clearing, and ensuring guests have a great hospitality experience.
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and organisation.
• Helping keep the pub running smoothly, supporting both kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Learning from experienced team members and developing your skills in all areas of pub operations.
