Job summary

Chickpea Group is looking for a Pub Assistant to help in the kitchen and support our front‑of‑house team, ensuring every guest feels welcome and valued.

You will gain hands-on experience, build hospitality skills, and have opportunities to grow within the Chickpea pubs and rooms across the Southwest. A supportive team environment and training are provided.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a passionate, energetic team to deliver a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Assist in kitchen with food prep and washing up (Kitchen porter duties).
• Support front-of-house by serving, clearing, and ensuring guests have a great hospitality experience.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and organisation.
• Help keep the pub running smoothly, supporting both kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Learn from experienced team members and develop skills across pub operations.
