Job summary

Wilson Vale is recruiting a Kitchen Porter to join our mobile catering unit in Manchester (M27 5SZ). You will support a busy team on site, keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean, washing dishes and assisting with serving as needed.

This is a temporary 5-month contract with a 7:00am–3:30pm Monday to Friday rota. We value reliability, high hygiene standards and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to join our team on our mobile catering unit in Manchester M27 5SZ.

Wilson Vale is an established, quality-led contract caterer. We work with amazing clients across the UK who place huge value on great food as a key part of their culture and community. We work in office restaurants, independent schools, and at conference venues with the same high-end ethos throughout.

We're looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our busy catering team at a TV filming site on a temporary 5 month contract. You'll be working in a fast paced environment serving crew and cast, with an eclectic range of international dishes prepared from fresh ingredients.

You'll be responsible for keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean and organised, including clearing tables, washing dishes and kitchen equipment. You may also support with serving when required. We're looking for someone who can work well on their own initiative, is reliable and happy to get stuck in. Some heavy lifting will be required.

You'll work Monday to Friday, 7am until 3:30pm. The proposed start date for this role is 5th October 2026.

• Have experience working in a similar role and environment
