Job summary

Daniel Thwaites is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our kitchen team as Kitchen Porter. You will help maintain cleanliness, assist chefs, and take on tasks to keep the kitchen running smoothly.

You may perform basic food preparation, with a focus on safety and efficiency. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and the ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen.
• Provide essential support to chefs and help with tasks as required.
• Undertake scheduled deep cleaning of kitchen areas and equipment.
• May assist with basic food preparation tasks.
• Organise and store food safely to meet company standards.
• Demonstrate a good work ethic and ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.

• Maintaining the standards of cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen
• The Kitchen Porter role is a key support role for our chefs so you will need to undertake any tasks asked of you
• Scheduled deep cleaning of kitchen areas and equipment
• May include basic food preparation
• Organising and storing food safely to comply with company standards
  You will be self-motivated and be able to work on your own initiative.

Demonstrating a good work ethic and a commitment to achieving team goals as well as an ability to work under pressure and time constraints. You should have a good working attitude and enjoy the buzz of working in a busy kitchen environment
