Job summary

Franco Manca is hiring a Kitchen Porter to support the kitchen team in a fast-paced Franco Manca restaurant in Greater Manchester. You will keep the kitchen clean, wash dishes, and assist with basic prep to help the team run smoothly.

You’ll be a hardworking, reliable team player with a keen eye for detail, able to stay calm during busy shifts and eager to learn about our sourdough-focused menu and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen clean and organized, ensuring hygiene standards are met.
• Wash dishes, clean equipment and maintain general cleanliness.
• Restock and organize supplies for service, supporting chefs as needed.
• Assist with basic food prep when required to help the kitchen run smoothly.
• Help maintain a positive, teamwork-oriented atmosphere during busy shifts.

What You'll Do:

As a Kitchen Porter, you'll be the backbone of the kitchen, keeping things clean, organized, and ready to roll.

You’ll keep the kitchen spotless by washing dishes, cleaning equipment, and maintaining hygiene standards.

Support the chefs with basic food prep when needed, helping to keep the kitchen running smoothly.

Restock and organize supplies, making sure everything is ready for service.

Be an essential part of the team, keeping things moving during busy shifts.

Help maintain a positive, friendly atmosphere in the kitchen - teamwork makes the dream work!
