Job summary

Sodexo Live! is hiring a Kitchen Porter to join our team at London area venues. You will help maintain high hygiene standards and support the catering operation in a fast-paced environment.

Candidate should have previous Kitchen Porter experience, a flexible can-do attitude, and solid communication skills. You will assist with cleaning, waste separation, and moving provisions and equipment as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Kitchen Porter.
• A flexible “can do” attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
• Good understanding of customer care.

Responsibilities

• To ensure that hygiene, safety and cleanliness regulations are complied with according to Safeguard regulations.
• To clean allocated pieces of heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials including air filter and extraction systems.
• Empty bins and ensure waste is separated as per regulations.
• To dispose of waste materials from catering areas to designated compactors.
• To operate industrial dishwashers and glasswashers in all catering areas.
• To transport provisions, equipment and other catering related items as required.
• To maintain clean working environment at all times, with special regard to hygiene.

Main Responsibilities
